What previous raid experience do you have?
I have raided all prior tiers of content prior to this one, when they were considered progression. Since "heroic" tier raiding was introduced, I have killed all bosses at the heroic tier (prior to Cataclysm). For this tier, I have seen some of the bosses in LFR and pickup 10-mans.

What guilds have you been a member of and why are you leaving?
Current - DarkNova of Alexstrasza. I had raided with these people during Burning Crusades. I have a "friend" status with this guild - i.e. I do not raid with them.

Capital Vices (1 year) - Eredar (http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/us/eredar/Capital+Vices)
I was a raider with these people during heroic ICC and RS25. Was part of the kill team of RS25 heroic, a US100 kill.

Valence (3 years) - Altar of Storms (http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/us/altar-of-storms/Valence) I raided with these people through all of Ulduar, ToGC, and some of ICC. Was part of some server-firsts with this guild.


Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows ?
Shade of Arrows fits a few of what I consider to be indications of a good fit for me.
(1) Progression - heroic 3/8. This amount of progression is an indicator of the skill level of the people in the guild.
(2) raid times - weekend raiding, which is perfect for me
(3) east-coast server (Velen). Since I am on the east coast, this is ideal for latency.

Been playing WoW since launch. I have not raided seriously in this tier. I have raided as a resto shaman, priest, and holy paladin in the past few years. Obviously, my gear is not up to par for your heroic attempts. I have been trying to upgrade gear through valor points. Before going any further, can you confirm that Cobane was ok with my current gear level ?

You're in your PvP gear Bro. Need to relog in you PvE gear

I am at work now. My PvE gear is ~ ilvl 385, with a mix of 5-man heroic ilvl 378 gear and ilvl 397 valor pieces.

I dropped a message in your thread with the intent of talking and seeing what you've got to offer. When I looked at your armory, you were in PvP gear. This is something I expected to clear up during our conversation.

Since you are a server transfer, it will be extremely difficult to encourage you spending transfer money without validating information from logs.

I strongly suggest before we review your app that you do 3 things:
1) Upload a log to WorldofLogs yourself after doing an LFR where you play to the best of your ability.
2) Log out in your PvE gear.
3) Submit a screenshot of your UI with your application.
