    Merridah
    MS: Resto OS: Elemental

    Your age: 19

    Armory Link of Main: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/dalaran/Merridah/simple
(I am currently gathering the mats to level LW because I don't want to pay the large gold amount to buy all of it)

Armory Links of Notable Alts: I have a 90 Holy Pally that isn't really geared.

    World of Logs/WMO Parses: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/6dx8bqmeqpvgkkan/analyze/hd/source/

Your weekly raid availability (Fri/Sat/Sun 7-11pm EST): I have college classes Monday-Thursday, so Friday-Sunday are the only days I'm available in the evening. The times work great for me.

What add-ons do you rely on most? Power Auras, X-pearl, Bartender, Recount, Grid, Clique

What resources do you use to keep up to date on how to play your class? I visit Elitist Jerks to look over the discussions. I also use Noxxic and keep up with the armories of top shaman players.

What previous raid experience do you have? I raided very casually during WotLK, as I was more interested in PvPing. During that time I played a troll resto shaman, and completed 8/12 25m ICC during guild hosted alt raids that I occasionally joined. I completed all of ToC 25m, and completed Sarth 3D 10m, and 25m.
Completed Dragon Soul on normal, and some of the Heroic fights.

What guilds have you been a member of and why are you leaving?
I joined a guild that originally started on the server Arathor 2-3 years ago that ended up transferring to another server twice. After this, I joined my boyfriend's guild on a different server. I was offered a trial raid spot as a Holy Pally during Cata, and was quickly accepted to heal for Anguish (10man). When MoP rolled around, my guild suddenly moved raid times to weekday evenings, times that I can't make, so they replaced me. In an attempt to still get in content, I started forming a morning raid group(with permission) that I would raid lead. My GM came to dislike this idea, and eventually started picking fights with some of the morning raiders. I didn't want to stay in a guild that held that much potential for drama over raiding. I recently g-quit, as they've denied me raiding and the overall friendly attitude of Anguish has diminished.

Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows (Be thorough with your answer)? Although I've only become passionate about raiding over the past year, I feel like it's something that I can't play WoW without now. I don't want to raid just for some cute epics, I want to raid for progression, and to find other players like me who strive for excellence in everything they do. Shade of Arrows is everything I could hope for and more. Despite the weekend times, Shade of Arrows can still keep up with guilds that utilize weekday times. It seems that every member is intent on being the very best of their class, and that is something I wish to be apart of. Looking over the healing parses I'm thrilled to see how capable SoA healers are.
It is easily arguable that I lack experience, but I feel that I make up for this in my attention to detail, fast learning and ability to work well with others.

How did you find us (Friend,Forum,Trade Chat,Officer, etc.)(specify)? I found the recruitment post on wowprogress. I was browsing for any guilds that were progressing at a good pace and were either morning or weekend raiders.

Tell us about yourself, to help us determine if you would be a good fit here (The more you put here, the better it looks): I'm 19 years old, female, and to put it simply, I love WoW. I've been playing for almost 5 years now, and though I've become bored of it on one or two occasions, I've been too attached to this game to give up on it.
I'm currently taking college courses for an associates in Business Administration and I'm also dabbling in modeling. These things take up the majority of my weekdays, so I rely on WoW to allow me to unwind but still give me a challenge.
I'm a really sociable person, I enjoy making new friends inside and outside of the game. I love pvping with friends, doing transmog runs, any little thing that allows for some fun conversations with people.
I'm an extremely competitive person in all that I do. Though sometimes this aspect of my personality can become a hindrance, I feel it is what compels me to do whatever I can to become one of the best shamans and one of the best healers possible. While I love competition with other healers, I keep it friendly. Synergy between healers is extremely important in any group. Do not fear, I am competitive but I'm not an elitist. I've dealt with too many of those to allow myself to sink to that level of silliness.
In conclusion, I'd like to say that Shade of Arrows looks like a wonderful guild, one that I could fit into comfortably. Of course, this is not something that can be proved by words alone. You all know what is best for your guild, and whatever you decide, I wish you all the best of luck in your raiding endeavors! Smile

Thank you for your interest in SoA!

You have a well written app and seem to be a nice person. However, this app doesn't say to us "realm first material."

As it stands, we're going to pass. Good luck in your search!
