What add-ons do you rely on most? weakaura . DBM . skada for other things than dps .

What resources do you use to keep up to date on how to play your class?  Watching some stream. watching gear and specs of top rets. doing some dummy to try things out . taking a look often on mmo-champ to see upcoming changes .

What previous raid experience do you have? : a lot of ICC content . and fireland  along with DS . played a bit in BC as ret but not that much .

What guilds have you been a member of and why are you leaving?: been part of Horde du Lys wich is a french guild on zul
Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows: always interesting to join a #1 realm guilde . i've got my first garosh kill with you guys on 10M runs realy enjoyed the experience so im looking towards raiding more with y'all

How did you find us : a guildy of mine told me about you guys looking for good players for 10M heroic garrosh so one night i came and killed garosh since then i've done some CM's with savedya and aura

Are you competitive by nature? If so, who do you compete against (Yourself or others? Specifiy other)? i like trying to push myself further everythime reducing downtimes in fights . i'm not realy competitive against other classes since i consider that i shold do my job as a ret pally , but if i see another ret pally for sure imma not gonna let myself get steped on.

Tell us about yourself to help us determine if you would be a good fit here (The more you put here, the better it looks): i've been playing for a long time did a lot of raid been in diffrent groups . i'm the kind of raider that knows when to focus and to stay focused . the more i get comfortable with the groupe the better it gets i like to spend time on mumble with guildies not doing jsut raid but participating . i also have realy good criticism. a raid leader screaming at me is not something that offends me . i know when to admit i did a bad thing not gonna blame someone else . as a person im a funny guy trying joke alot . realy expresive person . dont know if it matters but in life im a cricus artist  so that's a bit about me .

Hey Grugrol, thanks for the app, I've got a few questions and comments for you. Firstly just looking at a few random parses like Sha of Pride, I'm wondering why you have more Judgements then Crusader strikes since crusader strike should be a higher priority then Judgement and it has a lower CD.

One other thing looking at your Fallen Protectors Kill what was your reasoning for using Seal of Righteousness over Seal of Truth?

for the judgment over CS it;s been a while since i've done that i changed the rotation if you can look at more recent logs and for the seal maybe i just started with truth and switched for righteous during sun phase . i think i might have tried that but i usually dont use righteous , if i had it on from the begining of the fight it might have been a stupid mistake

For the cs/j/exo ratio I have my skada open from last night (didn't think about logging since I wasn't shooting for a rank) and on the longer pulls he had 85 cs / 63 j / 53 exo and 68 cs / 45 j / 45 exo.

That does look like a bit better of a ratio Savedya. Another thing looking though these Parses they are a little bit outdated latest ones are all over a month old. So I can really only work with what I have, although the parses that I did look at are the ones you did best on for each fight.

Like Malkorok, here your CS/J is still a bit off of what it should be, but the bigger concern is that only 3 times did you ever get up to 5 Holy power. Admittedly I'm certainly no Ret pally expert but are you not supposed to be using your HP generators over Templar's Verdict if your not at 5 HP? Unless of course CS/J/Exo are all on CD at the time of use.

If you do have some newer logs where your rotation is a bit cleaner, I would love to take a look at them because overall your survivability does look pretty decent.

my CS/J/EXO had changed before going on paragon and garry i knew something was bad i spoke to my serv top rets and i've changed alot of things using TV or DS with 5 HP is still something im trying to get used to . as ret during wings you dont want to have more than 3 holy powers but its true that when the wings are down i should most of the time stack up to 5 HP before using TV . i dont have new logs right now . cause i was not raiding anymore i do now with savedya maybe he could log tonight's raid so you could see how im doing its totally diffrent from before


and in some cases you need quick burst for a few % on a boss i dont stack holy power i just TV right away when i got 3 HP so i can get more DS procs

some fights where i need aoe i'll glyphe mass exo and put it prior tu J or CS sometimes for a better dammage

We are doing another run tonight and u can have new logs. This guy has a great attitude and is a pro player. Aura approves.

I would like to inject here that Zier has recently passed his trial for ret paladin. Grug will need to prove worthwhile for either a hard to justify 2nd ret spot or be willing to play an alt class in WoD. Its not impossible to prove just worth for a 2nd ret, but please expound on what alts you are willing to play in WoD.

Alright so after looking at your latest logs that were posted and you with improving a lot on what my concerns with your rotation were, and from all the positive responses from the guildies that raided with you stated, I've decided to offer you a Trial. But do note that we are going into WoD with a lot of melee. So for you to pass your trial and make the cut your going to have to bring your A game.

So after looking at your logs and you such for your trial period everything is looking pretty good. Even though it's pretty difficult to judge anybody in this super nerfed content. Any of the problems I had with your rotation seem to have been fixed and your survivability still seems to be pretty good.

So with all that said trial passed welcome to Shade of Arrows!
