Your weekly raid availability (Tues/Thurs/Sun 8-12pm EST):
Monday - Friday I am not availbe from 1 AM EST until 6 PM EST. All other times I can make.
What add-ons do you rely on most?
Bigwigs, omen, tell me when, and skada. I have rewritten some of the skada code to fix bugs that make buff uptimes for monks not make sense.
What resources do you use to keep up to date on how to play your class?
I watch Treckie's stream quite a bit, and I read up on theck every now and then. I mostly only look for help when there are patches or when I am struggling in a fight. I'm good enough with numbers that I can figure out the rest, fight-by-fight cooldown usage, on my own.
What previous raid experience do you have?
TOT: 3/13 heroic as a healer
SoO: 9/14 heroic as a tank, 5/14 heroic as a dps
What guilds have you been a member of and why are you leaving?
Silver Legacy - Mal'ganis
Prestigious - Proudmoore
I'm leaving silver legacy because there were way too many afk breaks for me to enjoy raid. When I'm in a raid, I want to be productive, either figuring out what needs to change for next pull, or pulling bosses. There were people constantly taking quick afk breaks that get promoted to officer status, so I decided that I wasn't going to put my time into the guild. After leaving silver legacy I moved my pally to tank on my alt team, and don't see my pally having a long term future in that guild.
Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows (Be thorough with your answer)?
I want to be in a long term group that has people all mentally checked into raid. I love how much teamwork it takes to kill the end bosses, and really want an established, stable team to join and prove my worth. I'd also love to be on the horde side. The final thing that I want out of a guild, and which I know Shade of Arrows can provide, is a solid and intelligent raid leadership. In some of the groups that I have raided with, the raid leader wouldn't know what classes have what cooldowns, or even if heroism had been used. I'm over backseat raidleading, and I know SoA does not need any.
How did you find us (Friend,Forum,Trade Chat,Officer, etc.)(specify)?
I had cobane reply to me on the forums suggesting I should apply.
Are you competitive by nature? If so, who do you compete against (Yourself or others? Specifiy other)?
I'm very competitive. I'm always trying to improve myself as a player. Some of the time this means trying to beat my other tank to take less damage. Other times its to pull higher dps. World of logs is the primary way I try to figure out how to abuse fight mechanics: not many people know you can see exactly what spells were cast in what order with millisecond precision. It comes in handy when trying to learn how someone does such good dps, and they dont want to tell you.

I'm a little bit of a numbers nerd. I currently attend uni for a degree in mathematics, and I have a part time job as a web developer. I occasionally crossdress for fun. I have a lot of experience in the dota genre, and went to TI3 last year. I have a blackbelt in origami, my favorite food is angelhair pasta, and I have the simpsons season 1-15 on dvd.
