List the days you are raid available (Sun-Thurs 8-12pm EST): Every Day except Thursday and Friday with the occassional weekend due to Scouts
What add-ons do you rely on most? Weak Auras and DBM, however Weak Aura's has become more a convenience. If the situation was to arise I think I could play without it.
What resources do you use to keep up to date on how to play your class?
I use Icy veins primarily, mmo-champion is good and I look up mages such as Cycobi and Vykina. Cycobi has a good arcane mage guide out and Vykina played fire primarily this xpac however recently has been playing more arcane, He also has a good Fire Mage guide out.
What previous raid experience do you have?
I raided all of BC and into LK. All of LK up to but not including ICC as I had stopped playing then. In LK I lead a semi-hardcore raid guild named Antipathy on Draenor Alliance it no longer ecists. No cataclysm raiding experience. MoP I have been up to Heroic malkorok once and have multiple 13/14 Clears of Normal SoO
What guilds have you been a member of and why are you leaving? previously came from Firetree, In SoA as a friend.
Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows (Be thorough with your answer)?
I am already in SoA as friend status, I have listened in on many mumble conversations and the raid style is very in tune with how I learn. I have also been a part of a few runs with the regular raiders now and really enjoy working with the people in the guild. Bliz is a great mage and I think once I am equivalent (or close) geared I can compete on his level. Realm first H25 garrosh sounds really cool, It says something about your ability to play and I would really like to show that I am a skilled enough player to earn that title along with the remainder of the core raid group. This I believe would be an amazing start becoming part of the core raid group in WoD
How did you find us (Friend,Forum,Trade Chat,Officer, etc.)(specify)? Cheech brought me over from Firetree as a friend.
Are you competitive by nature? If so, who do you compete against (Yourself or others? Specifiy other)? I am absolutely competitive by nature. I compete with myself and others depending on the situation, Obviously high gear vs a low geared person the high geared should beat them in terms of damage. however, I compete in other way in that situation. I look at logs, check DoT uptimes, wasted procs on things such as Arcane Missiles, Pyroblast!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost and check damage taken by avoidable sources
Tell us about yourself to help us determine if you would be a good fit here (The more you put here, the better it looks): I really enjoy getting better on every pull of every fight. It doesn't matter if I have cleared the fight 50 times before, there is always something that can be improved upon. Better positioning , smarter placement of Rune of Power, better cooldown usage etc. I rarely make the same mistake twice once it has been corrected. I believe I could be an asset to any core group pushing progression because of my ability to learn with relative speed.
Outside of WoW: I am a Scout leader, having been in scouting since I was 8. Currently in school for Medical Labratory Technology. I am engaged, own my own house with 2 large dogs and a cat. Currently undergoing renovations at the house, creating a larger space upstairs for a bedroom and expanding the bathroom by 25 inches across 7 feet. this coincidently gets me an office space to put my computer in as well. I also play/DM Dungeons & Dragons on weekly basis with friends on fridays.
Random tidbit, my Best friend is getting married to my fiancee's twin sister (non identicle).
