Your weekly raid availability (Tues/Thurs/Sun 8-12pm EST)
I am available 8-12 on all three of those days, as well as every other day of the week.
What add-ons do you rely on most?
I don't "rely" on it to the point that I am unable to play without them, but the add-ons I find most useful in a raid setting are DBM and Omen.
What resources do you use to keep up to date on how to play your class?
Elitist Jerks, several spreadsheets, and I will occasionally brave the official WoW forums.
What previous raid experience do you have?
Vanilla: I started off as a Holy Priest at the urging of my friend, who said his guild needed one, and was silly enough to level as it at the time. I hit 60 and spent awhile getting geared up and then applied to Vis Maior, and was accepted at a bench spot during MC progression, and upon a spot opening up was offered a full time raid spot. With them I cleared ZG, AQ20, Onxyia, MC, BWL, AQ40, and up to Sapphiron in Naxx.
BC (played very casually, with a focus on 19 twinking): All of Kara, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon, with bits of SSC/TK/BT. I came back to the game very late, and since the massive roster change there was no open spots in my old guild, and I did not want to be carried to gear I did not earn. I focused mostly on a 19 twink at the time with casual raiding.
LK (listing 25 mans): All of VOA, Naxx, EoE, OS 3 Drakes, Ulduar (Realm First Algalon), ToTC Insanity (Realm First), and up all but LK in H ICC before I had to deal with my illness. I spent first half of the expansion with the guild Vox Radix, and when the guild had leadership issues a lot of members ended up leaving due to people losing desire to progress (an issue since fixed after GM change), and the second half of expansion with Fierce.
Cata: Started playing WoW again January of 2012 after the DS patch, and decided to wait for MoP for a fresh chance at progression raiding
again. Only did Dragon Soul, with 6 heroics. Mostly just tried to experience the new quests and lore of the game before MoP .
Mop: Full clear of Heroic MV and HOF. 3/4 Heroic Terrace.
What guilds have you been a member of and why are you leaving?
Simple Math, which I left due to not really clicking with the people there. They are good people and raiders, but I never really felt comfortable there or like I was with "friends".
Uprising, which I left when I got burnt out on 30 hour raid weeks and decided to take a break from the game and focus on some issues I was having IRL.
Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows (Be thorough with your answer)?
I am hoping to join Shade of Arrows because I am looking for a guild that has less raid hours in a week that still bring it during raid time and get things done, without the ego and drama a lot of progression guilds have. I am looking for a place to stay long-term until I hang up WoW for good, and am looking for good people to spend my WoW time with, and everything I have heard about you guys from Yttrius sound like it would be a good fit.
How did you find us (Friend,Forum,Trade Chat,Officer, etc.)?
I learned about your guild from a friend, Yttrius.
Tell us about yourself, to help us determine if you would be a good fit here (The more you put here, the better it looks
I'm a 22 year old tattoo artist who prefers to sit at home and game or read than go out with people and all that jazz. I started gaming in more than a casual sense at 12 years old when my friend turned me onto Everquest and D2. I am also a student at ODU working towards a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
