Yes, I have DoT trackers everywhere >.>
Your weekly raid availability (We raid Fri/Sat/Sun 4-8pm PST):
I am available 100% for those times.
What add-ons do you rely on most?
Quartz, ForteXorcist, Power Auras, Omen, DBM, Tidy Plates-Threat Plates
What resources do you use to keep up to date on how to play your class?
I mostly see what reputable warlocks say on the WoW Forums or I talk one on one with warlocks on my current server.
What previous raid experience do you have?
On my warlock, I cleared 5/7 H FL while Firelands was still current content and I am currently 1/8 H in Dragon Soul. On my druid, I have completed all of the content in Cataclysm.
What guilds have you been a member of and why are you leaving?
I have been a member of <Alone> for the entire expansion and have had very close to perfect attendance for all raids. Since I was very committed, I was chosen to receive one of the first legendaries of my guild. My guild has been looking for a warlock for the entire expansion, but due to the fact that I am a very competent player and Boomkins have been great for every end-raid boss, they wanted me to stay on my Boomkin. Now that I am no longer needed on my druid, my guild master (and friend) has allowed me to go casual on my druid.
Now, I can solely focus on my warlock (my preferred character). If I still choose to help out this guild for the rest of the expansion, it will not conflict with your raid times because their raid 7-10 EST Mon-Thurs. Also, I have already cleared potentially leaving with my guild master and he is very understanding that I am choosing to focus on my warlock now.
Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows (Be thorough with your answer)?
I want to join Shade of Arrows because I am looking for a friendly yet competitive guild. I have heard and watched some of your raids and I enjoy that kind of atmosphere. I have been looking for a guild where I can raid competitively on for my warlock and Shade of Arrows is exactly that. You are 6/8H DS (pre-nerf) which means there are high-quality raiders in this guild. I am friends with Melexia (as mentioned below) and I did enjoy raiding with her and would like to raid with her in the future.
How did you find us (Friend,Forum,Trade Chat,Officer, etc.)(specify)?
I used to raid with Melexia when she was on Aerie Peak.
Tell us about yourself, to help us determine if you would be a good fit here (The more you put here, the better it looks):
I leveled up my warlock at the beginning of Cataclysm and started raiding on it half-way through tier 11 content. Since then, I've always wanted to raid on my warlock; however, I was not allowed to main-switch. I know that there are negative connotations around being an 'alt' because I am better/more geared on my boomkin; however, another boomkin would not work well with your current composition. With my druid going casual, I see my warlock as my new main and since I know all of the fights from a ranged DPS perspective, adapting to my warlock/different strategies should not keep me from performing at my best abilities from the very beginning.
I am trying very hard to gear up my warlock so that if I am accepted I will not drag down the raid. Also, I have saved up multiple enchants/flasks/potions/epic gems, that I can transfer over with me. For the past week, my main/sole focus has been perfecting both Affliction and Demonology specs. Affliction is the spec that I am most comfortable with (and was top dps spec in t11/t12 content); however, with the buff to incinerate and the t13 2pc, Demonology is the top raiding spec at the moment (not to mention the buffs it brings the raid as well).
I am a very committed person who does not make many mistakes. However, if I do make a mistake; I will learn from that mistake and will not repeat it. I am not a loot whore nor do I expect certain loot. I raid because it is fun and enjoyable and getting loot is just an extra result that comes from this. I am considerate and respectful and that is why I waited until I no longer needed to focus on my druid to apply on my warlock. This way I will give this guild my full attention and really push myself, and in turn Shade of Arrows, to succeed.
Also, I do not like what is currently going on with druids in MoP, so my warlock will be my main toon in MoP.
