LOOTABLE MOUNT POLICY

Mounts are dedication rewards. For the guild to be able to kill a boss that drops a hard to obtain mount, every effort that goes toward guild progression from the start of an expansion counts. Without that effort, we would not have the chance to loot the item. So here is the loot priority system for mounts:

The higher the number of months having earned Raider status during (previous tier + current tier) = the higher your priority on a dropped mount. Ties will be broken by counting months from previous tiers in reverse chronological order until the tie is broken.

As stated above, the count of the number of months will only count for 2 tiers. Months are recorded on the forums under Raider Status Updates and ordered to conform to the mount policy in this thread. I hope the mount rule serves as a small carrot to encourage you to maximize attendance while rewarding the people most deserving of the item for their dedication to SoA!

For Dragon Soul tier, the mount system is based off of Firelands and Dragon Soul attendance (most recent past and current tier as stated in the rules).

The order will change monthly, based on Raider status updates.

This is based off of attendance from July 2011 through December 2012. Ties have been broken by months previous to July.

Please remember that after one person gets a mount, they no longer need that mount, so it goes to the next person on the list, who is there for the kill. Cobane only needs the Ultraxion mount and the Heroic Madness mount from current content. Also, when the rank system changes, we will still use Raider status from attendance to determine this mount loot order, so it is to everyone's advantage to continue to make Raider each month.

Mounts and achievements are becoming account-wide in the near future, so if you have a mount on another character already, please pass to someone who doesn't have it at all. If you have an achievement on another character, please give up your raid spot to someone that still needs the achieve if we have more than 10 people on.

With the release of each new tier, the mount list is updated to reflect the attendance from the current and most recent tier. Dragon Soul released on 11/29/2011, which means the count begins with December '11 and ties have been and will continue to be broken as needed using previous months.
