Has anyone else seen this bug? Apparently with the amp trinkets (pbi, prism, etc), it snapshots your gear when you equip the trinket, not when your stats change. For most specs this wouldn't matter since you want to snapshot your highest mastery or haste that you can, but for specs like fire where you want to get a ton of crit, you can first put on your arcane set, put on the trinket to snapshot the mastery, and then swap back to your fire set. The crit bonus for the amp trinkets is crit damage, not crit strike rating, so you'd essentially have 1.5 amp trinkets equipped. If you're a disc priest that uses pbi/prism then I bet it would stack the effect. I'd also imagine if you really wanted to minmax you could put on a blackblood to snapshot the little bit of extra haste and then swap it out for a totem.
Also for specs like brewmaster and guardian that benefit from higher haste/mastery, use amp trinkets, and still go crit main stat would probably benefit from this.
