I decided to take a look at LUI, and it shows a great deal of promise for becoming my new interface. However, I have no idea what some of the various things on the screen mean. Does anyone know of a good quick tutorial with quick setup instructions, or would someone be willing to post their LUI with a quick description of what the various buttons/pull-outs/WTF areas are?

Re: LUI... WTF
im hesitant to use premade UIs of any kind because you don't know what its got set up or necessarily how to change it. same with my vehicles....i modify the shit out of them but never buy them that way bc idk what the hell someones done. i recommend spending a day when you have time on your hands and building a UI yourself piece by piece and as you go set up every minor facet of every addon to your exact liking down to the position of the indicators on your frames. i am beyond in love with mines functionality although it does not look as fancy as LUI. that being said....that is definitely a very sweet looking UI. sry i didnt have the answer you were looking for but i was just revamping my UI and felt like sharing my thoughts. G/L!

Re: LUI... WTF
Oh, I do have my own self-made UI; but I'm looking for something for which I don't have to manage the 80 (yes, 80) addons that I have installed now to make it work.
LUI looks really nice and clean, is highly customizable, and works with both VuhDo and Razer Naga (although I may switch Naga over to Bartender4 for a better mesh).
I spent some time playing with it today, and really like what I see; I simply don't understand all of the little gizmos in it. And I'd dearly love to change the raid icons it provides back to Blizzard's defaults.
As an aside: Damn, my current forum avatar is overwhelmingly appropriate to this task.

Re: LUI... WTF
Okay, after messing with LUI a bit more, I've decided I'm definitely switching to it. It's going to clean up my screen, and cut down on addons, both very good things.
Just one thing is driving me crazy though, and I don't know if it is LUI doing it, or if I have changed something else. I get little animations now telling me that I just got a heal or a buff. I definitely don't want to be seeing that. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Re: LUI... WTF
Well, after spending quite a long time messing with LUI, I decided to just go back to what I had been using, with a few modifications to make things look LUI-ish. If a future version of LUI will permit some of the additional features I want, I'll go back to it. For now though, I'm pretty happy with what I have. I still need to tweak a coupe of things, but it's just minor stuff.
HERE is a link to a screenshot with a faked 25-man raid. I can tell at a glance that my target is hostile, rare/elite, not tapped, and targeting another hostile. My focus is a neutral normal mob. I also have a decent amount of clear screen to work with. At least LUI gave me a lot of good ideas of what I wanted to do. Any comments/tips would be appreciated.
