What previous raid experience do you have?
I have downed the first 6 bosses (Lower Spire+ Rot and Fester) and have seen valithria but havent downed her.

What guilds have you been a member of?
Second Life(Alliance), Epic Warfare, Shatter(Alliance)

Why did you leave your previous and current guilds?
The two guilds up there were from when I was alliance, but I switched to be with buddies of mine, Epic Warfare is not progressing at a steady enough pace and I do not like being a serious player on the 3rd 10 man team.

Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows (Be thorough with your answer)?
I want to join the guild to progress more in ICC, hang out with good people, and have a serious (but fun!) Raiding experience.

I am 15 years old, I play WoW and am on the track team at school. I am a very fun person to play with and have been complimented on my levels of maturity compared to my age group.

Now for the short answer part of the exam:

1- What is the haste cap for resto druids? Have you already or will you reach it by running ten mans?

2- Explain your glyph choices for healing. Are there any fights in 10m heroic you would consider reglyphing for? Why?

3- Explain how a resto druid should approach healing the heroic Lord Marrowgar fight. Break it down as two phases: The AoE phase and the tank phase.

4- How would you change your setup if asked to be the raid's primary tank healer instead of a full time raid healer?

5- Given that we often take advantage of the dual spec feature, state the hit/haste/crit cap for boomkins and the basic rotation.

AND NO PEEKING AT/CHANGING TO GREATLAEKNER'S ANSWERS!

1. Because I have 5/5 Gift of the Earthmother and Celestial Focus, my haste cap is 735. I currently have 655 haste, blizzard is deciding to put crit on a lot of ICC leather restoration gear, and it is sometimes hard to find enough haste on gear, but I should be able to attain the cap with 2 more peices of Tier 10.

2. I use glyph of Rapid Rejuvenation, Swiftmend, and Nourish. I probably should have been using wild growth instead of nourish, but for heroic 10 mans, this is the set up to go with. The reason for that is haste effects ticks on rejuvenation with the glyph, they tick faster to compensate for faster damage. Glyph of swiftmend makes it so swiftmend does not consume my HoTs which would result in less mana, which I seem to have troubles with . The nourish glyph makes my nourish increase heals for each of the HoTs on my target, I am also casting that a lot more to compensate for more damage.

3. During the aoe phase of heroic marrowgar, a resto druid would keep wild growth on cooldown, only casting it if it hits 3 or more people, and blanket the raid with rejuvenation, swiftmending/nourishing when necessary, focusing on the bone spike victims. During the tank phase, assuming I am raid healing, I would continue to be focusing on the bone spike victims, while rolling hots on the tanks to support the tank healers.

4. If I was asked to be the raids primary tank healer, I would change my talents very slightly, adding living seed into my talent, meaning when I crit, the next time the tank is hit, he/she will be healed, I would also compensate my adding lifebloom into my "rotation"

5.A boomkin needs 10% hit, or 263 hit rating to for there cap, 403 haste rating for cap, and enough crit so that when lunar eclipse procs, our crit is at 100 percent. The basic rotation for a boomkin is, at the beginning of any fight, pop treants and starfall(situational, but mostly at the start) and fairy fire the boss, then you spam cast wrath until a lunar eclipse procs, spam cast starfire until your lunar eclipse is over, refresh dots, continue starfire until a solar eclipse, spam wrath, rinse and repeat.

Thanks Rafi, its been a pleasure healing with you, adding a boomkin as an alt may be dangerous, it might steal your shamans place as main when you see 27k-30k starfire crits

As much as I love seeing my own numbers push up, up, up, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. You should hear Sift complain when we don't have paladins, feral druids, enhance shamans, or frost DKs! But if you can push out the huge numbers, it's only better for us as a whole!
