    Your age:

Your real name (or at least what you'd like us to call you):

    Armory Link of Main:

    Armory Links of Notable Alts:

Not worth anything notable. But, might level these alts sometime in the near future.

    World of Logs/WMO Parses:

    Screenshot of your UI:

Not in a raid environment. But, this is what it basically looks like.

Your weekly raid availability (Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00-11:00pm PST):

Thought I was applying for the mon-thursday group? But, I can do both raid times/groups. Prefer a group that doesn't have a resto druid yet.

Just a heads up. If (accepted) I am going on vacation January 26th - Feb 11th 2015 and I do realize BrF comes out first or 2nd week of feb in which I do apologize in advance. But, if this will be a issue. I do understand and I'd like to thank you for your time looking at my application at least.

What add-ons do you rely on most?

    DBM, Hermes, Recount and Weakauras.

What resources do you use to keep up to date on how to play your class?

I also usually sometimes watch top PoV restro druids on youtube for different boss fights or look at their armory and see how it is compare to mines/seeing if I need to make any new changes for my druid.

I don't use EJ anymore. Since, I heard that site was pretty much outdated with information from what the druid community is posting.

What previous raid experience do you have?

Vanilla – None. Quit before any real raids actually happen due to the fact my parents were paying for my sub and felt like I was failing school because of this game, because of this they stopped paying for my monthly sub.

    BC – Karazhan (Full Clear)

    LK – Onyxia’s Lair (Clear) / Naxx (Normal Clear/ Some Heroic) / ToC (3/4 H) / VoA (Full Clear) / OS & RS (Full Clear, None Heroic) / Ulduar (Full Clear, 7/14 H) / ICC (Full Clear, 9/12 H)

    Cata – BwD (6/6 Normal, 5/6 Heroic) / BoT (4/4 Normal, 3/5 Heroic) / ToFW (2/2 Normal, 1/2 Heroic) / BH (3/3 Normal, 3/3 Heroic) / FL (7/7 Normal, 3/7 Heroic) / DS (7/7 Normal, 3/7 Heroic)

MoP – Took a break and just mostly did PvP

WoD - 7/7 N, 6/7 H w/ H imp (No attempts with current guild yet) But, 5-10% with pug groups and 0/7 Mythic with [M] Kargath 40-50% attempts w/ upstairs experience.
"I also have knowledge, research and watched videos for the rest of HM mythic bosses."

"Please note that I do realize I've had low raiding experience in the past. But, please don't let that cloud your judgement of me. I can hold my own and like to always research and watch videos 100% of the time for new content and progression bosses. I've never been into a serious progression guild before and would like to experience that special feeling trying to work our way of getting realm / world top for the first time."

What guilds have you been a member of and why are you leaving?

Unimpressed - Turalyon - "Great guild with wonderful people. But, I'm looking into a more serious guild that's pushing for progression, get though whatever challenging content comes our way and achieve realm first/world top as a mindset."

Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows (Be thorough with your answer)?

I am wanting to finally put myself in a position to be surrounded with nothing but excellent players. My expectations joining you guys is to basically find exactly what I am looking for, to also find people that not only know their class and everything but also do not waste time with the time we have set for the raid. I hope things are taken seriously when we're on progression bosses. Most importantly stay positive and know we can down each boss as a guild. My mindset is hopefully the same as you guys and that's getting realm first/world top. I do realize it's gonna take a lot of patience and effort for that to happen and I don't mind bringing that chemistry together with this guild.

How did you find us (Friend,Forum,Trade Chat,Officer, etc.)(specify)?

I was looking around "Guild recruitment forums" and happen to notice a person (Haseoh) was recruiting for their guild on Velen. Decided to check out the server's progression on and seen your guild. Did a little research on your guilds warcraft logs, raid times, and progress (Almost same progress as I am) I don't know if you guys need anymore full time resto druids. But, I'm just gonna go ahead and apply anyways!

Tell us about yourself, to help us determine if you would be a good fit here (The more you put here, the better it looks):

As a person: Mark / 25 / Barporter-barback / I've had a dream about getting rich, fuck bitches, travel and smoke/drink all day.. Yup, Yup.. Joking! I never really had any dreams except for sure get rich. But, in the end I decided to get into bartending with all the great tips, atmosphere, talking to different customers around the world and seeing drunk girls. Currently, unemployed until first week of march in which I can get back to my full-time job and make the transfer over to a barback position. I'm not in college at the moment in which I'll probably get back into schooling in a couple years (If all is well.)

As a WoW Gamer: I'm a very competitive healer and will do whatever it takes to keep my spot as a core spot healer. I'm always trying to improve my healing skills to the best of my abilities and to utilize the full potential with my healing capabilities in helping the raid progress in anyway I can. I'm always fully prepared at all times, research/read guides, watch videos and I do realize when it comes to a new progression boss face to face is a lot different when it comes to just knowledge alone. That's why it's best to encounter the boss, see how it plays-out and go from there. In no way that I'm perfect and realize I do make mistake sometimes. But, I do own up to that mistakes and to make sure it doesn't happen twice.

    Bonus question >>Do you attend couple's cross-stitching?<<

I added some extra questions/answers about how I manage my resto druid's talent, rotations, glyphs, stats and also connection speed and computer spec. Since, I didn't see any about that on the application template.

T1 - Displacer Beast - Similar to a mage blink, very strong for quick movements and oh shit moments. overall the best T1 movement talent for resto druids.
T2 - Ysera's Gift - Strong overall healing - the most by a wide margin.
T3 - Typhoon - A general knockback, pretty strong for certain fights.
T4 - ToL - Great mana conservation talent, Extra boost % of healing, Regrowth is instant cast (great with OoC proc) and extra armor boost.
T5 - Ursol's Vortex - Is used during add phases on ko'ragh to keep them inside suppression fields.
T6 - Nature's Vigil - Depending on the fight, I usually roll with NV due to it's strong for raid healing and 30% single-target healing (great with rejuv)
DoC – I switch to this during H imp fights. I will probably talent this in a mythic progression fight also/when I know it's gonna be a very long fight for mana conservation.
T7 - Germination - Double rejuv with a longer duration and it's a 17% hpm increase to our most widely used ability (Rejuv)

Glyph of Wild Growth - Adds an additional raid target member for healing. Combine with ToL and that's pretty much a extra 2 raid members with a total of 8 WG HoTs healing.

Glyph of Regrowth - 100% crit healing when OoC procs.

Glyph of Rejuv - Great glyph! I cast healing touch as a filler and need the faster casting time.

STATS - Intellect = Spirit (Most are leaning towards spirit for now due to the fact druids have really bad mana regen and have to focus on which healing spell would be of use without having to sacrifice to much mana.) Haste >=< Mastery (It's a toss up and debate on haste vs mastery in which case I tend to like too balance it a little.) (> Multi-strike > Crit > Versatility)

Mastery directly affects your entire selection of spells, while Haste only affects a few spells. While it is somewhat playstyle dependent, be aware that the strength of Resto Druids has shifted almost completely from MoP to WoD. Previously we were very good at keeping the raid stable with high, sustained, and mana-efficient healing per second. This is no longer the case. Our main strength now lies in our ability to deal with high amounts of raid damage over a short period of time, such as Quake on Twin Ogron or Tectonic Upheaval on Tectus. Tranquility is especially powerful in this regard and it is not affected by Haste in any meaningful way. This is why as of right now, Mastery tends to be slightly stronger than Haste because it enhances our strengths more than Haste does.

There is some theorycrafting going on that resto druids should be at 900 haste. Since, Wild growths haste breakpoint is at 900 and the rest should be mastery. But, due to HM gears dropping mainly haste for me (bad rng) It's a upgrade until I can actually start seeing some mastery drops.

-Regrowth on proc / Spam on extreme dire situations.

-Rejuv when dps takes damage around 85-90%
-Rejuv (Germination when dps takes major damage 60-70%)
^Usually they are topped off after my Rejuv/Germ due to other healers taking over. If not, I'd cast healing touch as a filler to bring their HP back up.

-Swiftmend- For emergency heals or to make sure my harmony is up 90%+ of the time.

-Shroom on tank/melee or when range are stacking to get the full duration out of the spell.

-Full HoTs on tank always or when you know there is incoming damage.

-Wild Growth - Normally is used when 5-6+ members are at around 60% to get the full duration out of it. I try not to spam this due to the fact it consumes a lot of mana. But, when I know I can conserve my mana then I spam it when there is a lot of AoE damage incoming.

-Healing Touch - Filler spam healing.

-Keeping harmony up at least 90% of the time.

-Keeping Lifebloom up for OoC procs

-Nature's swiftness - When someone needs a quick healing.

-Soul of the forest - (If talented) when necessary for extra HoT effectiveness

-Tranquility - When a lot of AoE damage is incoming. I normally can pop this 2-3 times in a fight.
