Do you have access to Vent?
    Yes
What sort of tools (calculators, builders, spreadsheets, etc.) do you use to plan your characters (if any)?
not much to calculate on healing.

Provide the armory link to the character you are applying with:
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Velen&cn=Greatl%C3%A6knar I have a funny AE in my name so you can see by hovering the link and looking in the bar it's legit.

What are your best in slot items for each slot from ICC 10 normal mode (Give us your gear wishlist)?
No current wishlist. But to Kill LK?

What previous raid experience do you have?
ALL BC and Vanilla raids complete on another account that got hacked and still haven't gotten back so i started fresh.

What guilds have you been a member of?
    Epic Warfare

Why did you leave your previous and current guilds?
DKP system a little wack IMO all groups share the same DKP and sometimes group 2 would not go therfore not earning points.

Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows (Be thorough with your answer)?
Seen the trade spam a few dozen times. And talked with the gm last night. I would like to become part of a solid progression group and be able to progress at a steady speed. I dont have much expectations from a guild but to have fun playing with no drama.

Tell us about yourself, to help us determine if you would be a good fit here (The more you put here, the better it looks):[b] Well i currently have 4 lvl 80 toons that i enjoy playing. I have been playing since release of vanilla. I read up on all changes and try to adapt to new content and changes ASAP and playing 4 classes has gotten my sences of all angles of the fights and i think has helped me be a good player. I fly helicopters in the summer months Got 3d?

    Thanks for viewing the app.

Now for the short answer part of the exam:

1- What is the haste cap for resto druids? Have you already or will you reach it by running ten mans?

2- Explain your glyph choices for healing. Are there any fights in 10m heroic you would consider reglyphing for? Why?

3- Explain how a resto druid should approach healing the heroic Lord Marrowgar fight. Break it down as two phases: The AoE phase and the tank phase.

4- How would you change your setup if asked to be the raid's primary tank healer instead of a full time raid healer?

5- Given that we often take advantage of the dual spec feature, state the hit/haste/crit cap for boomkins and the basic rotation.

AND NO PEEKING AT/CHANGING TO AMMO'S ANSWERS!

1- What is the haste cap for resto druids? Have you already or will you reach it by running ten mans? hard haste cap is 33% 1163 if i remember the numbers right soft cap if i recall is 23% And you benefit from shaman 5% and ret pally talent to get as close to 1 sec GcD as you can.And yes i have hit it on both specs. And i can also regem a couple gems now since a equipment upgrade which will be taking place a couple new gems.

2- Explain your glyph choices for healing. Are there any fights in 10m heroic you would consider reglyphing for? Why?
I use rapid rejuv, wildgrowth, and swiftmend. rapid rejuv allows my rejuv to benifit from haste and allowing the ticks to be a tad faster thus in thery having a chance to maybe save a wipe. wildgrowth helps in 10/25 mans by hitting the extra target and healing 1 more person is never a bad thing. and swiftmend allows me to hit swiftmend without consuming any hot saving a GcD for a more priority target.

As for reglyphing for 10 man heroics i could probably change out rapid rejuv for glyph of intervate after looking at this glyph it seems it may be very nice for healing intensive fights.

3- Explain how a resto druid should approach healing the heroic Lord Marrowgar fight. Break it down as two phases: The AoE phase and the tank phase.

I am going to answer this one the best i can from what i seen so far. What i think i can help myself and other heals in tank phase i notice the tanks take the primary blunt of the damage as well as bone spiked person. So i would cast nourish on tanks and blanket them with rolling hots as for the spiked person they need a little more focus as well so treating the bone spike like a tank seems logical. And wildgrowth the raid while rolling hots on them. In AOE phase ie: bonestorm, primary focus is bone spiked person as they take a heap of dmg more then any one hot can keep up with maybe spam a faster bigger heal and maybe this is were reglyphing to healing touch maybe might help faster cast less mana but a little bit of a lower heal my healing touch personaly hits for around 20k so hitting for 10k is much more then nourish itself once they are out hot them up and swiftmending might be key. as for the rest of the raid healing while not in bonestorm staying close and in range wildgrowth might play a role here with rolling hots. This is how i might forsee this being good.

4- How would you change your setup if asked to be the raid's primary tank healer instead of a full time raid healer?
I would reglyph to more tank worth glyphs IE, Swiftmend, nourish, and rejuv not rapid just normal. and as far as spec changes there is a couple more tank worth talents maybe a talent spec like this http://www.wowarmory.com/talent-calc.xml?cid=11&tal=0532003100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000230503310531522031053013051 with a couple points adjusted here and there.

5- Given that we often take advantage of the dual spec feature, state the hit/haste/crit cap for boomkins and the basic rotation.

    hit cap. 10% or 263.
4% from balance of power, 3% from IFF = 7% leaving you 10% to make up.
    17% non spec etc.
haste cap for boomkin 585 without a shaman 400 without the totem. Anything past 400 with a shaman boomkin benift more from crit/sp as gear comes along i generaly regem to keep my numbers in range. Some of my resto gear is also boomkin gear so playing with gems all the time is somewhat crazy.

My rotation is FF-IS-MF-Wrath to proc-Starfire the duration-IS-MF-Starfire untill proc-wrath-IS-MF
I do Solar-Lunar i have played Lunar-Solar and found a dps drop seems kind of silly in logic but it's what i found on the dummies in comparison.

Also i hit starfall-treants when feasible

    PS i didn't peek Razz

That is a very cool video. They did it with one tank, three healers though ... I like their reasoning behind doing it. Any idea the level of gear/buff in that video? It was posted in April, so the buff would have been very small, if it existed at all.

no just trying to get myself familiar with the heroic version and seeing this video seemed like the most logical solution, but i am up for trying anything to get him down. and yeah the video is somewhat old so i imagine gear probably on par with 10 man icc and probably 5% buff if any?

I would like to personally thank every member i ran with in the last 4 weeks. This is by far one of the best groups and experiences i have had in a long time. But do to myself thinking i am just going to drag the guild down I have decided to step down myself rather then to be denied. I hate to do this but it saves sangery and all others the hassle of denying me in person as i felt might have been coming. If you ever need me to heal or deeps i will always be available to do that from time to time.

    Thanks Again everyone.
