Black names, or are they? (for Duf)

    Jerome-
    http://www.behindthename.com/name/jerome
From the Greek name ‘Ιερωνυμος (Hieronymos) meaning "sacred name". Saint Jerome was responsible for the creation of the Vulgate, the Latin translation of the Bible, in the 5th century. He is regarded as a Doctor of the Church. The name was used in his honour in the Middle Ages, especially in Italy and France, and has been used in England since the 12th century.

Greece, France, Italy and England are where most black people are from, correct?

    Tyrone-
    http://www.behindthename.com/name/tyrone
From the name of a county in Northern Ireland which is derived from Irish Gaelic Tir Eoghain meaning "land of EOGHAN". This name was popularized by American actor Tyrone Power (1914-1958), who was named after his great-grandfather, an Irish actor.

Must be those black Irish  Wink

I see you change the historical spelling of the name it makes it a black name?
Shaquille \sh(a)-quille, shaqu(il)-le\ as a boy's name is pronounced sha-KEEL. It is of American origin. Modern variant of Shakil (Arabic) "handsome". Made familiar in modern times by basketball celebrity Shaquille O'Neal, also well known by the short form of his name, Shaq.

People are just shooting out names like black people are the only one with odd names. The point of the thread was that unless its something outlandishly ridiculous then it probably isn't original. Don't let a stereotype define how you act.
