    Your age: 24

    BattleTag: Zombie240#1387

Armory Link of Main: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/earthen-ring/Gurio/advanced I have the gear and ability to play both frost and arcane proficiently. My damage is higher as arcane, but it lacks in utilities on the latter half of SoO fights that Frost provides. Plus its more enjoyable to play. I ‘can’ play fire, but my interest in playing it is about 1% and I have no gear for it.

Armory Links of Notable Alts: I have a disc priest but only really pvp on it.

World of Logs/WMO Parses: http://www.warcraftlogs.com/guilds/344/ (of which I was probably half asleep on fights that we were killing for the 30th time)

Screenshot of your UI: https://i.imgur.com/pgi6xWq.jpg (I also have many other WAs that are hidden)

List the days you are raid available (Sun-Thurs 8-12pm EST): I’m available Sunday à Thurs, but there are some days (such as school/finals/3 exams in a day) I won’t be able to make it. Not interested in raiding more than 3 days a week. Also can’t raid past 12pm EST.

What add-ons do you rely on most? Many: everything from customized Weak Auras to BW to Affdots (mage). I use bits and pieces of various addons to keep track of shit that works for me.

What resources do you use to keep up to date on how to play your class? Top mage logs, various forums, occasionally SimC, dummies when fine-tuning reforges/gems. On my current realm (Earthen Ring) other mages frequently come to me for tips/tricks on how to better their play, so I try to keep up-to-date on everything.

What previous raid experience do you have? Tier 15- 10/13h, Tier 16- 11/14h before disbanding. Prior to Tier 15 was in very casual raiding environments.

What guilds have you been a member of and why are you leaving? Catch Phrase (officer), guild disbanded because we kept losing people in key roles due to RL reasons. Eventually we couldn’t keep recruiting people without backtracking on progression.

Why do you want to join Shade of Arrows (Be thorough with your answer)? Decent progression and appears to be on track for a solid WoD raiding experience.

How did you find us (Friend,Forum,Trade Chat,Officer, etc.)(specify)? Someone added me (along with a billion others) from a post I threw up on the guild recruitment forums. I deleted them after I heard the raid days (as I had many add me with time/alliance/whatever) that didn’t meet my few details I posted when looking for a team. Oromiselda texted me about ya’ll and that the raid days weren’t exactly what I heard, hence the application.

Are you competitive by nature? If so, who do you compete against (Yourself or others? Specifiy other)?
If I’m not near top damage or bottom of damage taken I’m doing something wrong, and I’ll see what the differences are and fix them. Ie, if I was struggling to keep an uptime on something or coordinate certain buffs for optimizing dps, I’ll find a way to track them. I don’t like being bad and possibly being “that guy” holding people back.

Tell us about yourself to help us determine if you would be a good fit here (The more you put here, the better it looks):
I care more about the raid team being successful, and sacrifice damage if it helps kill bosses (our first couple kills of H Spoils I had quite a few dispels to help alleviate tank damage as an example). Most importantly, I’m proactive instead of reactive. That said, I make mistakes, but those mistakes won’t be repeated. I pick shit up fast, and strive to be a dependable raider. I’m always seeking ways to improve my toon (be it changing out tier bonus’ and comparing it to off-set pieces, and how both would contribute better for a specific progression fight), and am usually the guy who will propose a weird new strat to overcome an obstacle.

At first i was slighlty confused why you had the 2 haste expertise gems instead of gonig full mastery but now i see your hitting the haste cap. your gear / stat priorities are all in order. I looked through your logs and your damage seems to all be in order. I would like to see more consistent up times on invocation on some fights. you have some where you are at 98% and others where your at 86%.

Oh god which fight was I that low, that's embarrassing lol. But there are many instances where above 95% would be acceptable, even above 90% imo, at least in 10m. Such as: your debuff about to fall off on Sha (while invokers is about to expire) so blink-->bs-->ginvis-->soak-->blink back would be more important than refreshing invokers. And on Galakras, we were sometimes clearing waves faster than they could spawn, so there'd be no need to refresh it until ~3sec before next add wave.  IJ, same thing, no need for a buff when you're on the other side of the map during transitions. Basically, the way I see it is this: if your invokers is about to/falls off and there is an important mechanic about to happen, why waste time casting Evo and a few sec of the buff when you wont be dpsing for a few seconds? As long as you have a bomb up it's not really a dps loss and mechanics are done properly.
Keep in mind, though, that dps wasn't an issue for us on most fights so I was more concerned with doing the fights correctly; on fights it did matter, my dmg/uptimes will be much higher.

As for my build, I went haste cap frost for Thok progression and decided to keep it like that for Paragons progression; reason being it is easier to get off a cast + instant between screeches and squeeze out an Evo as well. Paragons, in 10m at least, requires a shitload of movement which us mages arent the best at, so with haste cap build I could easily position myself and squeeze out a fast FB and move if needed while using any procs while moving. With a mastery build, there is a higher chance you'll get screwed over by having to move before you can get a cast off.

I also can run a mastery heavy frost build (kinda boring imo as your top 3 dmging abilities will be icicles/bomb/welly) and a few variations of arcane builds using 2pc/4pc and dif haste caps.

Edit: decided to just make another email to create an account
