Hasty, we would like to trial you this weekend. You will receive an calendar invite in game. You probably won't get in Friday's raid, but like all serious applicants you should show up.

    Hasty,

Now that you've raided with us for a few nights, I'd like to point out some things which I think you might find helpful in a raiding environment.

First, regarding your gemming. I see you've started throwing Arp in your armor. This is broadly accurate. It appears, unfortunately, that you've started it a bit early (Arp scales in value the more you have, so there's a point at which you have enough from your gear that gemming it becomes worth it) but that's probably not the end of the world. If you were going to min/max, you'd be using AP/Haste gems in yellow sockets and straight AP gems for everything else. As it is, the Agil/Crit gems in your chest are not good. You'd be best advised to put a nightmare tear in one of the slots in your chest and putting an AP/Haste Gem in the other.

Your meta gem should be a Relentless Earthstorm Diamond, not what it is.

    Enchants:

Your shoulders should be enchanted with the PvE enchant from Hodir rep. I recognize that you're not currently exalted with Hodir, but grinding that rep (either through the quests, buying the drops off the AH, or with triumph badges) is a good idea. You are revered with Knights of the Ebon Blade, so I'm not sure why you also have the PvP head enchant. Buy the PvE enchant from them.

You should also have the haste enchant on your cloak, Powerful stats on your chest, the +50 AP enchant for bracers, and berserk on both your weapons.

    Regarding what you're doing:

Your SnD uptime is a little low. Admittedly, this could be due to some aspect of the fight which I'm not capable of pulling from the logs, but just to emphasize -- it should be your highest priority. Even if you only have a single combo point, you should keep it rolling.

Your cooldown order is a bit off. The logs show you as using Adrenaline Rush, then Blade Flurry, then Killing Spree. You never want to pop AR before Killing Spree -- because you don't use energy during the six seconds it's active, you will cap out and some of the AR will be wasted; Pop it after your first killing spree is over.

I see you have the rupture glyph. You should, indeed, be doing a high-rupture rotation. Basically your priority would be SnD>Rupture>Eviscerate where you only eviscerate when you have more than 3 combo points and greater than >10s on your rupture. This is a rotation which is, for obvious reasons, no good on adds -- stick to eviscerate with them. If you don't want to switch to a rupture spec (it's only a few percentage over strict-eviscerate), then you should swap out glyph of rupture for 'glyph of tricks of the trade' or 'glyph of eviscerate.'

Haste pots are very useful against raid bosses. Buy a stack (they're not expensive) and pop one right before the pull and another one during the fight.

Getting your second profession leveled would be a nice little boost, if you have the time.

Regarding your gear, your cloak is quite poor (PvP gear tends to be equivalent to gear of a much lower ilevel in PvE. The badge cloak (Hammerhead Sharkskin Cloak) is actually considerably better, despite being 30 ilevels lower. The cloak from regular FoS (Accursed Crawling Cape) would also be an upgrade. The crafted Chest (Knightbane Cuirass) and bracers (of Swift Death) would also be huge upgrades if you have any extra gold.

All of these things together represent nearly a 1.1k DPS increase. Maximizing your gemming would add another ~150.

Finally, all good rogues should use a spreadsheet. You can download the most popular combat spreadsheet here:

    http://elitistjerks.com/f78/t39136-combat_mutilate_spreadsheets_updated_3_3_a/

Some of your current gear is not listed, because spreadsheet authors usually only include the latest tier. When, however, you start getting pieces, you will want to use the spreadsheet to determine what to gem and what pieces represent the biggest upgrade This sheet represent an accurate model of your DPS with different gem/enchant/gear combinations -- it's completely invaluable. You can open it with excel, or if you don't have excel, OpenOffice. Google it.
